'One Love' + 'Two Hearts' = 'My First Romance'

    TWO young loveteams will fill up the big screen with heartwarming romance in Star Cinema's forthcoming offering, "My First Romance," a twin bill calculated to make everybody swoon and fall in love again.

    John Prats and Heart Evangelista star in the episode entitled "One Love." They are among the stars of the ABS-CBN soap "Berks." They've also starred in a Star Cinema smorgasbord movie, "Jologs."

    John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo, meanwhile, are featured in "Two Hearts." They are among the cast members of "Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay," another top-rated ABS-CBN soap. Separately, the two loveteams are among the most popular soap tandems right now. Combined, they star in the most romantic movie about young love. "First Romance" is Star Cinema's answer to numerous requests from their fans to bring their romances to the big screen - the better for everybody to experience young love again.

    Directed by John-D Lazatin, based on a screenplay by Ted Boberel and Tessa de Guzman, "One Love" is the story of two campus figures who is forever at odds, only to end up in each other's arrns when they learn to set aside their pride and personal endeavors to excel in campus activities.

    Che (John) is a scholar and Student Affairs Assistant who is forever thwarting the efforts of Jackie (Heart), a campus beauty and president of Angels, to pursue several projects calculated to prove herself worthy of her position. They are like two lines who will never meet. In the end, they finally do, to the delight of their campus supporters.

    Meanwhile, "Two Hearts" is the poignant story of two young people whose lives are rudely interrupted by tragedy early on. It is directed by Don Cuaresma and based on the screenplay of Mel del Rosario.

    John Lloyd plays a campus soccer star, Enzo, who needs a heart transplant. Bea is Bianca, the girlfriend of a guy who dies in a car accident. As fate would have it, the heart that John Lloyd gets is that of Bea's boyfriend whose wish is to donate his heart to a foundation when he dies.

    It won't take long before Bea, with the help of John Lloyd, who now has the heart of her late boyfriend, learns to move on.

    "First Romance" is showing this October 29.

    In line with the movie, Startraxx (distributed by Star Records), in cooperation with Star Cinema, have come out with an official motion picture soundtrack of "My First Romance." The OST features "Please Be Careful with My Heart," sung by Heart Evangelista and Hans. Other tracks are "Ikaw Na Lang ang Kulang" (Akafellas), the Tagalog evrsion of "The Love You Want (Ni Yao De Ai)" (Michelle Ayalde), and "Dream I Like" (Full Circle Divas).
