John Prats revealed that playing a gay role used to scare him like mad especially when he did it for the first time in "Ako Legal Wife," a Metro Manila Film Festival entry of Regal Entertainment last year.

    His role required him to don a women�s attire and he was ordered by his director, Joel Lamangan, to shave his hair, especially in his underarm. John won a Best Supporting Actor nomination for his role in the movie.

    John again plays gay in the teleserye, "Crazy for You," which partly was taped in Barcelona, Spain. "I supposed it�s getting used to it that matters. Ngayon, I don�t mind if in my next movie or TV assignment, I will be asked to do another gay role. Ang importante ay kung ano ka ngang totoo," he related.
