John Prats admits he rebuffed offer from rival network; happy with projects for ABS-CBN

In an interview with ABS-CBN’s "The Buzz" on Sunday actor-dancer John Prats admitted that he received an offer from a rival network, decided against it upon consultation with ABS-CBN bosses.

"Siguro po ako kasi for a 17 years parang siyempre gusto ko ding mag-grow... kasi for 17 years nandito ako talagang at home na at home ako dito. Siguro may mga dumating lang na, nagkaroon lang ng mga offer na kahit paano sabi ko ‘Siguro nga baka mag-grow ako pero thankful ako kay tita Cory at tito Deo na hindi nila ako pinayagan," explains Prats .

Recently, Prats signed another one year contract with ABS-CBN.

He is set to play a special role for the network’s upcoming television series "I Love Betty La Fea" with Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz.

More mature

Prats will also do special episode of "Your Song" with actress-politician Aiko Melendez. According to one report, Prats will be playing a more mature role in that episode.

"In ‘Your Song’ they will see the other side of me," the actor said.

The actor will also be busy taping for ABS-CBN’s "KOMIKS presents Mars Ravelos' Tiny Tony."

Prats as ‘Tiny Tony’ will show the people especially the kids that you don’t have to be someone big to do good things and to be a superhero.

The actor will also be part of the cast of Regal Films’ latest romantic movie "Loving You" with his new onscreen parter Ehra Madrigal.

John Paulo Quiambao Prats in real life is the eldest brother of actress and new mom Camille Prats. He started his career as a child star in 1992's "Ang TV." He is dubbed as The Prince of Dance and Dancefloor Dynamite in Philippines .
