“Cool siya.Kapag nakita mo siya iisipin mo parang hindi siya naii-stress. Okay rin kasi ‘yung support ng husband niya, family ng husband niya, kaming family rin niya kaya walang masyadong pressure.” said John. However, John misses his sister for he doesn’t see her as often as before because Camille is also busy taping a drama on another network and most of their locations are out of town.Every weekend, Camille would take her baby Nathaniel to be with the family of her husband, Anthony Lansangan.
John went on to say how amazed he was to see how one child took Camille’s life to a full turn.“Grabe kasi isang baby gumawa ng malaking twist sa buhay niya.As a parent ang dami mong magiging responsibilities.”But on his part, John said that he is not yet ready to settle down and have a child. The 24-year old actor would rather be prepared in all aspects once he decides to have a family of his own though his sister somehow inspires him that parenthood also has its positive effects on a person.“Kapag nagka-anak ka magma-mature ka din.Basta ready ka lang for it, nothing will go wrong.”
Speaking of mature, John is currently seen in his most grown up role to date in Your Song Presents Someone Like You.In this weekly drama, John plays a young man who gets into an affair with an amnesiac older woman portrayed by Aiko Melendez.John said he never had any qualms doing intimate scenes with Aiko whom he worked with in the movie Batang X when he was still a young boy.“Sobrang okay kasi first day of taping pa lang namin sa Your Song naging comfortable na kami sa isa’t isa.‘Yung love scene namin implied lang naman.Ako ang gusto ko sa love scene yung ‘nagme-make love’ hindi ‘yung nagbo-border sa pornography.”
