Did Shaina Magdayao cry over John Prats’s love scene? By: Napoleon Quintos   From: ABS-CBN.com [June 13, 2009] Rumors have been going around that Shaina Magdayao cried after seeing boyfriend John Prats do a love scene with Denise Laurel in the teleserye Precious Hearts Romances presents Bud Brothers. ABS-CBN.com clarified the matter with Shaina during the press conference of her upcoming film Villa Estrella, and the actress just laughingly answered the question. “Hindi. Nakita ba niya ‘yung kissing scene ko?Hindi ko napanood ‘yung episode ko at ‘yung sa kaniya. Nag-text na lang sa akin ‘yung ibang fans kung napanood ko daw ba kasi sa isang araw ipinalabas ‘yung kissing scene ko with Jason Abalos sa Kambal Sa Uma at ‘yung love scene ni John with Denise Laurel sa Precious Hearts. Sabi ng mga fans nakakaloka daw kasi ako may kiniss na iba siya din may kiniss na iba.” Shaina said that since she and John are in the same business, they both understand the demands of work, particularly doing kissing scenes or love scene with other actors. “It’s part of our work. Hindi din naman mahihindian ang mga kissing scenes at love scenes lalo na kapag hinihingi ng story. Hindi bawal sa amin ni John ‘yun so dapat abangan niyo pa ang mga susunod kong gagawin. Surprise muna, hindi ko pa pwedeng sabihin. Sa ngayon may Kambal Sa Uma at marami pang blessings this year.” She added that she might consider going daring in a teleserye or movie for as long as she believes in the material and she trusts her director and co-actor. “Depende sa pagka-daring. Kung hinihingi sa story at trusted ko naman ‘yung director, ‘yung leading man ko, at kung naniniwala ako sa character baka pwede. Pero ‘wag lang todong bold.” Shaina told ABS-CBN.com that since she had been busy with Villa Estrella and Kambal Sa Uma, she and John rarely go out on dates these days. “Hindi ko na nga masyadong nakikita ‘yung family ko, siya pa? Sa ASAP kami madalas magkita. We always talk on the phone, everyday dapat may communication kami.” While Shaina is now more open about her more-than-a-year-old relationship with John, both of them prefer to keep their relationship on a low profile as much as they can. “Hindi sa nahihiyang aminin or may pinapangalagaan. It’s just me, I’m just a very private person. Nakikita niyo naman kung ano kami so kayo na ang bahalang mag-judge.”
