John Prats and Heart Evangelista are both actors working for ABS-CBN. Some people find love in an unexpected time and place. This one is a little bit odd. John and Heart started acting at a young age. John started at 8 while Heart started at 13. They first laid eyes on each other at a Star Magic Pictorial. At first, John thought she was "maarte" and Heart thought he was "mayabang". After working together for 3 years in the show G-Mik, they started to get along very well.

    After a year, a show called "Berks" brought them together. The show ran to 2-3 years. They grew up together and bonded together. We talked to them before going live at Cow Palace on April 2, 2004. We asked Heart, "Is there a future for you and John?" She answered, "Hindi ko masasabi, all I can say is Im very happy where I am with John right now."

    After the show, we got another chance to talk to the two. We told her something was different about their sweetness when they performed or when they were together. John jokingly said, "I just had a great time performing live and siyempre with Heart. Alam niyo ba kung bakit iba ang sweetness?....Kasi unti-unting lumalabas na yung pagmamahal ko kay Heart." Heart laughed and said, "True.....hehe we just had fun."

    In early 2004, Heart was rumored to have a non-showbiz bf. Heart cleared it up for us, "Wala po, marami ang nanliligaw pero talagang work and school muna." John butted in and said, "Wala muna yan, kailangan approve ko muna." We all laughed, while the two kept hugging. It seems though that even though they're not together as much they maintain their sweetness. Who really knows what goes on behind that sweetness.
