John plays as Aiko Melendez's love interest in the current episode of "Your Song Presents: Someone Like You." He will also have a special appearance in "I Love Betty La Fea" and is still a mainstay host and performer in "ASAP '08." Aside from the said projects, work keeps pouring in for John as he is now the latest superhero to appear in ABS-CBN 2's fantasy mini-series "Komiks" showcasing Mars Ravelo's masterpiece Tiny Tony. John's portrays a small but powerful superhero character named Tiny Tony. Tony is a nerd who dreams of contributing something crucial to society. One day he meets an accident which literally makes him small. The story then goes around a tiny superhero's life. John has an orange costume and dons blue hair. The cast of the show recently had acting workshops and pictorials in preparation for the mini-series that is expected to start sometime in October after "Varga" topbilled by actress-TV host Mariel Rodriguez. John started as a child star in 1992 and he is now on his 16th year in the entertainment industry. He gained the title of not just an actor but a dancer, a model, an endorser, a drummer, a car enthusiast, and a businessman. In the dancing scene, John is tagged as "The Prince of Dance" and "Dancefloor Dynamite" in the Philippines. In the business side, he is a young entrepreneur managing their family's real estate business - Build & Sell Townhouses - after he finished a Business Management course last year. And during his free time, John is busy customizing his own car. He joined a group of car enthusiasts and is expected to appear in different car show events.
